OC Crew Soccer Club, based out of Orange County (CA), has teamed up with the top urban soccer apparel company in the U.S., FRE3KICK. OC Crew and FRE3KICK will co-brand and will soon release an exclusive custom and personalized t-shirt and tracksuit. FRE3KICK has brought what the sport of soccer was lacking, a cool and edgy soccer street wear concept.

“Being contacted by OC Crew to collaborate, truly means a lot to all us at FRE3KICK,” stated FRE3KICK founder Rob Medina. ”One man’s vision has rapidly turned into a huge movement not only in the U.S., but in other countries as well.”

“We wanted out teams apparel to be different and edgy, so there was no doubt that the company that came to mind was FRE3KICK,” said Robert Rake, coach and GM of OC Crew. “They have been collaborating with many other teams and after seeing their work, there was no doubt we wanted to co-brand with them and have some exclusive apparel made and designed by FRE3KICK.”

The Orange County Crew was founded in March of 2011. The goal of the club was to provide an environment for premier players to compete at a professional level, regardless of age, “pedigree,” or socioeconomic background. The club wanted to address one of the biggest problems of American soccer: Where do players go after they age out of youth clubs or don’t play college soccer? So many talented players fall through the cracks because of our still imperfect amateur and lower division structure in the U.S. There are very few places to play year-around that help players develop and still offer the opportunity to go pro.

“Orange County is a hotbed of soccer talent, so I wanted to give back to the community by providing an environment where local amateur players had access to professional level training, matches, and scouting, with little or no cost to the player,” Rake stated.
