Lightning to Make Major Announcement

The Louisville Lightning (PASL-Pro) have scheduled a press conference for January 4th.  The club is expected to announce that they have signed a key player.  Insiders suggest this may be the biggest event in the franchise’s young history.

USL Update

The Bermuda Hogges and Western Mass Pioneers have announced that they will be playing in the PDL next season.  Both played in the USL’s Second Division last season.

A source with the USSF says that a definitive answer may not be available until next week, but some are suggesting that it indeed could be after the holidays. The Professional League Task Force is currently gathering and evaluating information from both groups.

Tuesday’s Outside the Lines (3 p.m. ET, ESPN) will feature a live report from Jeremy Schaap in Cape Town, a match-fixing discussion,  and Landon Donovan live in the studio.
