Former Secretary of State Henry A. Kissinger Accepts an Invitation to join the USA Bid Committee

Dr. Henry Kissinger brings instant credibility to the U.S. bid for a World Cup in 2018 or 2022. Kissinger, one of the biggest names in Ameircan politics, is the same man that helped bring Pelé to the New York Cosmos. Adding a Nobel Peace Prize winner to the committee is a no-brainer.

Congratulations Seattle!

Seattle put on quite a show during their MLS debut.  They played great soccer in a great stadium with a great crowd.  They shut out the New York Bulls scoring three goals even without their star (and designated player) Freddie Ljungberg.  Seattle’s Fredy Montero was named MLS Player of the Week after his superior performance.  [...]
