Dayton was paced by two goals from Rose Lavelle and a single goal added by Shan Jones.

“Definitely not the performance we were hoping for, we worked hard all week, and looked good in training, but it didn’t translate onto the field,” Dayton head coach Gavin MacLeod stated. “We were still giving a lot of unnecessary soccer balls away at just the wrong moment of the game. Thankfully, our goalkeeper Ayanna Parker was outstanding tonight.”

The Dayton Dutch Lions Women’s team (0-2-0) will play the Charlotte Lady Eagles (2-0-0) again on Monday, May 26th at 1 pm at DOC Stadium. They then welcome the Atlanta Silverbacks to DOC Stadium on Sunday, June 1 at 4:30 pm.
