Men’s College Soccer: Purple Raiders Unable to Bounce Back in 4-1 Loss

The Mount Union’s men’s soccer (4-2) team was unable to bounce back against Kenyon, as they lost 4-1 on the road.

The Lords Tony Amolo struck first when Jeremiah Barnes found him in the third minute of play to give them the 1-0 lead.

Senior Chris Felker would score his third of the season and the game-tying goal with an assist from freshman Kevin Blackley in the sixth minute.

Kenyon would score two more goals in the first half and the clincher in the 55 minute.

Freshman Dylan Lias got his first start in the goal for the Raiders and had 11 saves on the day.

The Raiders look to tomorrow when they travel to Granville, and face off against Denison at 4 p.m.
