Murray to Serve as Captain for Mansfield Town

Inspirational midfielder Adam Murray has been named as Mansfield Town’s captain for the forthcoming season.

The 29 year old midfielder retains the armband after skippering the side last season.

Manager Paul Cox, who revealed the news this morning, said:  “His performances have warranted it (the captaincy).  Adam has done very well in preseason.  He has done everything asked of him and has been a leader on the training ground and on the pitch.”
