Philadelphia KiXX vs. Rockford Rampage

The Philadelphia KiXX announced today that the team will hold a live post-game auction of all the team’s game-worn uniforms after the club’s contest versus the Rockford Rampage on Saturday, February 21. All proceeds from the auction will benefit The Children’s Miracle Network at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Game-time is scheduled for 7:05 pm ET with the doors opening at 6:00 pm ET. 

SaturdayR17;s contest kicks-off a home-and-home series between Philadelphia and Rockford with the second game of the set at the MetroCentre on Sunday, February 21.  The clubs both boast a 6-5 overall record and are currently tied for third place in the NISL standings.  The Rampage, however, are in action tonight with a visit to the 1st Mariner Arena to battle the top-seeded Baltimore Blast and will either move up or fall back one-half of a game pending the outcome. 

The Rampage, formerly of the American Indoor Soccer League (AISL), feature several familiar faces headlined by former Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) Most Valuable Players Jamar Beasley and Dino Delevski, a member of the 2007 Philadelphia KiXX Championship squad.  Rockford also recently announced the acquisition of forward Gary Brooks.  Brooks began his professional indoor career with Philadelphia in 2004.  Standouts Novi Marojevic, Matthew Stewart, and Sanaldo are also competing with Rockford this season. 

Philadelphia KiXX group and single-game tickets are on sale by calling the club’s ticket office at 1-888-888-KiXX (5499).  The KiXX also offer a Family 4-PaXX, four lower-level tickets, four hot dogs and sodas, for the low price of $69 and a Birthday Package priced at $24.90 per ticket.  Single-game tickets are now available through the KiXX and the Wachovia Center Box Office, as well as online at www.comcasttix.com and at select Acme Market locations.
