"Your Source for the Beautiful Game"

ISN and the Dutch Lions Join Forces

International Soccer Network, LLC (ISN) is proud to announce that they have entered into a strategic media partnership with the Dayton and Cincinnati Dutch Lions.

“We are very excited to partner with the Dutch Lions,” ISN Founder Gary L. Moody Jr. stated. “They are a model franchise, an organization with a clear vision for growing the beautiful game here in North America. The Dutch Lions are leaders in the sport, focused on strategic growth and player development.”

The Dutch Lions brand is one of the most highly regarded in North America, one with international ties to legendary Dutch side FC Twente. The Dutch Lions have made incredible strides in American soccer since their launch in 2009, growing into multiple teams that participate in the highest level of competition available. This includes involvement in USL PRO, Premier Development League (PDL), USL W-League, USL Super-20 League, and USL Super Y-League.

“I am extremely happy that ISN will be our official media partner for the Dutch Lions F.C.,” Dutch Lions Business and Stadium Development Manager Koen Driessen stated. “I saw immediately the extra value of ISN after I got in contact with Gary Moody. His passion, professionalism, and expertise will capture every moment of the Dutch Lions FC to bring the fans a step closer to the game.”

ISN will be working with the Dutch Lions in two major areas. First, ISN and its network of sites will carry exclusive and comprehensive coverage for the Dutch Lions.  From player features to match reports to regular branded columns, ISNSoccer.com will be the source for everything related to the Dutch Lions.

Second, ISN will serve as a consultant to the organization in matters of media/public relations and marketing. Major plans are underway to upgrade the fan experience through enhanced social media campaigns, improved content for club websites, and development of new media platforms and applications. Building further relationships with local and national media is also a priority for both organizations as they strive to develop brand awareness in a broader context.

This agreement will be executed immediately as both sides begin preparation for the 2014 season.

ISN and TPSL Come to Terms on Media Partnership

International Soccer Network, LLC (ISN) is proud to announce that it has entered into a media partnership agreement with the Texas Premier Soccer League (TPSL).

ISN will offer exclusive news and content for the new Texas-based league, which is an affiliate of U.S. Club Soccer.  ISN will also lead an extensive awards program that will include weekly and end of season honors, while providing media and public relations services to the TPSL.

“We are excited to work with such an exciting new league,” ISN Editor Gary Moody stated. “The TPSL captures what Texas soccer is all about: great teams, intriguing matchups, and quality players and coaches.  And the league is led by one of the best soccer men in the country in former Irish pro Brendan Keyes.”

The TPSL has a strong stable of teams despite being in just its first year of existence.  Houston Leones FC, Houston Hurricanes FC, Houston Regals SCA, Houston Dutch Lions FC, Galveston Pirate SC, and BCS Bearkatz FC are all set to compete in the TPSL in 2013.

“ISN will help bring the TPSL much-needed exposure and publicity,” TPSL President Brendan Keyes commented. “They are leaders in the soccer industry and we are excited with our partnership moving forward.”

The TPSL season will consist of regular season games, a mid-season Texas Cup, and the playoffs.  TPSL teams will even have an opportunity to qualify for the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, the oldest national soccer competition in the United States.

ISN will be acknowledged as an official media partner, offering specific content on their blog and social media.  ISN can be accessed at www.isnsoccer.com, while more information about the TPSL can be found at www.texaspremiersoccerleague.com.

2012 ISN Cup: A Success Story and History in the Making

The 2012 ISN Cup was a resounding success, promoting the game of soccer in the Midwest at no cost to parents, teams, or players.  The free elite soccer showcase, the only of its kind, featured youth soccer matches between teams from across Ohio and Pennsylvania and a WPSL exhibition game.

Keystone Soccer Academy of Hopewell, Pennsylvania won the 2012 ISN Cup thanks to a 2-1-0 record and a +7 goal differential.  The team was led by Salem’s own Julia Dundon, who scored a brace against United HS in their final game.

Challenger Crew Juniors, the Columbus Crew’s Northern Ohio affiliate, finished with a 1-0-2 record and a +1 goal differential.  Challenger was led by goalkeeper Caitlin Jakubek, who finished with team highs in saves and minutes played.  Jakubek is an incoming freshman at the University of Akron and is expected to challenge for the starting goalkeeper position vacated by the graduated Jeny Wolbert.

United HS and Minerva HS both finished with a 0-1-2 record.  Minerva HS keeper Raychel Blocher earned the 2012 ISN Cup MVP award after a solid weekend performance.

The highlight of the weekend was a 8-0 win for the Ohio Galaxies WPSL squad over an All-Star team of NE Ohio college and high school players.  A crowd of over 100 saw Stark County’s first women’s professional match and the first WPSL match ever played in NE Ohio. Several Stark County players, including former GlenOak striker McKensey Cross and Perry defender Adriana Cosentino, played in the game.

It was the final match of the 2012 WPSL season for the Galaxies, who finished with a 3-0-2 record. The Galaxies were the highest scoring team in the Midwest Conference, possessing a potent attack and a strong defensive backline.

All of us here at ISN have been feeling a bit nostalgic lately.  So we came up with a two-part promotion that should get people talking.  It is as follows:

1.  Create your own All-Time All-MLS Starting XI

In other words, build a dream team of  players that left their mark on MLS.  It can be players from Season 1 , this season, or anything in between.  Google it, dust off your old issues of Soccer America, talk to your fellow fans, whatever it takes.   Send your answer to for consideration.  Out of fairness for all, be sure to use a 4-4-2 formation when considering your lineup.

Our staff will pick their favorite and the lucky winner will receive a free copy of Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 3D for the Nintendo 3DS™ system.  It is flying off the shelves nationwide, but you can get it here at ISN for free. Thanks to our friends at Konami for their help with this promotion.

2.  Create your own All-Time All-Crew Starting XI

The Columbus Crew are legendary members of MLS.  Many international stars have donned the Black & Gold.  Who will you choose?  Our staff has the final say on this one as well, but the winner gets a free Italy national team jersey courtesy of Subside Sports.

Send your answer to for consideration. Out of fairness for all, be sure to use a 4-4-2 formation when considering your lineup.
